Lunches

Parents can either provide a packed lunch for their child or opt for their child to have a hot school meal, which is prepared and cooked in our school kitchen every day by the staff of Commercial Services. All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal. There is a charge for all other children for a hot school meal.

Whilst we cannot claim to be a ‘nut free’ school, the food prepared by Commercial Services does not contain nuts and we ask all parents providing a packed lunch for their children to ensure that no nuts are included.

All parents are encouraged to provide a piece of fruit for their children to eat at morning play. This is provided to our younger children. We also ask that packed lunches are healthy during the week but a treat can be included every Friday.
