Dear Parents, the Year 6 pupils (and teachers!) breathed a huge sigh of relief yesterday as they

finished their SATs tests. They have worked incredibly hard to prepare and we are extremely proud of their efforts. Well done Year 6!

It will be a very special weekend for lots of our Year 3 pupils who will be making their First Holy

Communion at Saint Michael’s Church after months of preparation. Some have already done so at other parishes and our St David’s parishioners will do so in June. We wish all of the children well on this very special occasion as they receive this blessed sacrament for the first time. Please keep the children and their families in your prayers.

Voting has opened for our Talking Tree Tops project in TESCO stores for the last week so we need your votes NOW! The voting between the three projects looks extremely close so every token is important. Please, please could you pop into TESCO as often as possible this week and make sure you vote for our Talking Tree Tops project so that we win the maximum grant of £4,000. We plan to install some social spaces at various heights, perhaps in a giant tepee, so that the children have more opportunity to develop social skills, language skills and imaginative play whilst also having a lookout to observe nature around them. Spread the word and thank you in advance!
