Dear Parents, I hope that you had a lovely half term. It seems like quite a while ago already! The second half of the Autumn term is always a busy one but with the joy of Christmas to look forward to, it is always a lovely time at school with the children. I have spent the week observing the teaching and learning across the school. As always, it has been a pleasure to spend some quality with the children in the classrooms. They really are a credit to the school and to you, their parents. Their positive attitudes to learning and excellent behaviour are to be commended. I hope that next week, during your meetings with teachers, you are able to share in the pride I have for how well they are achieving at St Michael’s. This is because of the excellent teaching in the classrooms and your continued support at home—long may it continue!
